I don't know what to do, I have a 5yr old who is giving her teacher a hard time in school on a daily basis. I have tried taking things away from her, such as toys, television and games.Everyday I talk to her about the importance of listening to your teacher and following the rules, but she still comes home with a bad note. Do you have any suggestions?

I started a simple chart. I divided a piece of paper into seven sections and put 5 stickers on each section and labeled with the days of the week. Every time my kids do something wrong they lose a sticker. In order to get a reward at the end of the week they must have 20 stickers left on the paper. For rewards i give them something to look forward to at the beginning of the week, like a $2.00 shopping spree, a special dessert or a trip to the park. This way you can remind them of there goal and how many stickers they need. Hope this works Let me know how you make out. PS, it would not hurt to let the teacher in on this too so she can remind her too!
